Hey, Good news! Perhaps Budi and you can join forces, unless there is a reason to have different libfreenect objects. About the Mac OS X binary, it looks like you're not using Fink for libfreenect, so the embed-MacOSX-dependencies.sh script didn't work. That script looks for the /sw path of Fink. If you run these commands and compare them to the fux_kinect, you'll see the differences in the libfreenect and libusb references:
