i agree - unfortunately i don't remember where i picked that up that someone was making shader replacements for pix_ objects. i was hoping that that person reads the thread and speaks up. > By the way how is it going with the mask stuff? in the end pix_takealpha was used because it was decided that the mask stays unanimated and the performance was sufficent. thank you for your patch http://www.mediafire.com/?6n6c5hqnd36hhu4 it's a very clear explanation of the shader and i'll use it for further reference. m.
