that's a bit of an overkill if you just want to play back compressed audio. checkout out [mp3play~] and [readanysf~]. the latter will play most formats (but needs an external library to do the actual decoding). the former will (obviously) only play mp3 files, but is self-contained. gfasdmr IOhannes
