This one at least solves the start/end glitch and it's a really solid looper, could be a good place to start:http://puredata.hurleur.com/sujet-5021-sound-sound-looper-clear-option If you want quantisation then maybe the recording part should somehow fill a sequence of arrays with what you want to quantise (e.g. transients above a certain threshold) and what's in between, rather than a single one that you have sort out after somehow?
