Chris went over this many different ways and the main issue is that Pd 
currently still relies largely on Tk 8.4. Tcl/Tk 8.5 comes with built in unzip 
support, which is one reason why I’m trying to get Pd working on OSX without 
needing 8.4 anymore. IMHO Pd should be on TK 8.5 on all platforms, if not 8.6 
at this point.

We also looked into using batch scripts to call the native Windows unzip but 
there wasn’t any way to do that without requiring a 3rd party tool like 7zip. 
Maybe that’s changed now, but one issue is always that Pd needs to support old 
OSes to some degree.

If any of those Windows people on the Facebook group would know how to 
accomplish this, let us know...
