what's the advantage over [spigot~] from unauthorized? what's the advantage over [mux~] from zexy? what's the advantage over [*~] from Pd? my crusade against [spigot~] and similar objects is not because i think "unauthorized" is a bad library (i'm pretty sure that zexy is the best library). but for trivial objects like multiplication, i strongly believe that people should use built-in objects and not some external library, whenever possible. gfmards IOhannes
