Check the security settings. They may have that shut off. If you can print it, you can make a new pdf without the security settings that you could then copy the text from.

I tried searching the archives and didn't find anything. I'm new to this group and probably just didn't know the right question to ask.
I received an emailed pdf file that I am trying to convert to an Excel file. When I attempted to highlight the area with the table tool, none of the numbers highlighted. I tried the same procedure on other pdf files and it worked fine. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be and is there a way to correct the problem?
