If you have the fonts available, even though you are not using them, you
can have the Distiller point to where the fonts are by going to these
Menus: Settings/Font Locations/ then add the new path and this should solve
the problem.

Other wise you might try deleting out all the paths in this Menu to any
fonts, then try and drop you postscript on Distiller. It might be possible
that one of these paths that are currently existing was pointing to these
fonts at one time, and since then the fonts have been moved, but Distiller
may still want to see them.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

The printer recently gave us new settings and a new driver in which to make
our pdf files. All of my coworkers have not had any problems; however, I
can
no longer make pdf files using these settings and no one seems to know why.
We make our pdf files in 2 steps: first a print-to-file (.ps) file is
created
for the Quark Express document; then we open Distiller to convert the .ps
to
the pdf. Well, when I try to convert my .ps using Distiller, I get an
error.
The error log states:

Error: Helvetica not found. Font cannot be embedded. ]%%
%%[ Error: Times-Roman not found. Font cannot be embedded. ]%%
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: findfont ]%%

What's more peculiar is that the file doesn't even contain Helvetica or
Times
Roman fonts. I've tried changing the print driver. Setting up new font
sets.
PLEASE HELP!
