The only thing that I can suggest is that maybe you create a cover page for
this before creating the pdf then maybe you will get the spread pages to be
in the correct place. If you are ok with the keeping the cover page in
tact and all is ok then great. But you might try deleting the cover page
to see if your first two pages remain a spread or if the spread moves to
the end of your document. Good Luck but, I have seen many other Adobe
Software Programs do the same sort of stuff and there seems to be no way
around it. But then again, I haven't needed to do what you are trying to
do.

Hi there
Whenever I convert a three-page article to PDF, it automatically makes a
double-page spread of the last two pages, with the first page standing
alone. Usually, I need the frist two pages as a facing spread, and the
third
page as a stand-alone. How do I achieve this?

You could just print it as a file instead of to your printer to create
a postscript file and then distill that. It's one way to do it.
