What's the best
method and filetype for large scanned documents converted to
pdf?
I'm sending large
hand-drawn engineering sheets out to have them scanned to an image file we can
import into Acrobat for loading into our pdf archive.
I just had an "E"
size scanned to a "B" size tiff and it's regeneration performance after
being opened in Acrobat is pretty poor. I put it up in the archive and
immediately got complaints about how long viewing actions and printing were
taking to perform.
It's a 3.5M
pdf.
