My publishing editor has asked me to look at adding a Terms of Use statement to our pdfs. Is there any way that an alert box be added to any pdf so users have to click it before they can see the pdf? What alternative interfaces are useful? What is a good tool to add these alerts to a bunch of pdfs in a batch? Can it be done with Acrobat 5? Would this alert box interfere with any indexing mechanism in webservers?
