This may be overly simplistic, but why not make a PDF out of the PageMaker document, THEN insert the PDF of the Ads into it.

I too am a new user of pdf files. I put a magazine together using PageMaker
6.5. Can someone tell me how to insert a pdf file into PageMaker without
losing the resolution? Ads are sent in pdf format and look and print fine
directly from Acrobat but after they are inserted into PageMaker, they look
terrible. Suggestions?
