PDF-Basics is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/

What difference does it make how the PDFs appear in the Pagemaker
document?

If the PDF looks and prints fine in its native format, it should do the
same when output from the Pagemaker document.

If on-screen display quality is important, then you'll have to consider
another program such as InDesign to use for your page layouts.
