You do seem to have Acrobat, but if it’s an earlier version than 6.0 you might not be able to easily do any kind of batching. If you go to http://www.pdf995.com/ you will find that you can download a free mass converter. Actually, now that I look at it again, they send you to the site http://www.omniformat.com/ to get the converter. I believe it’s all the same outfit though. The free version converter does NOT expire, but if you want, you can purchase it and other options for anywhere from $9.95 to $19.95. If you use the free version you do have to see advertising. What it does is allow you to set up a “watch” folder, and any of certain types of documents you put in there are automatically converted. I just reinstalled it here on my pc and tested it (I forgot how it worked). I fired up the watch program,  moved five word documents to it, and in a jiffy had my five PDF files. The original files get deleted, and I had to close out five advertising windows when it was done. But it worked, and it’s free. Of course (again) if I want to pay $9.95 I can avoid the advert windows.

Subject: [PDF-Basics] Multiple Files

I need someone to help me figure out how I can create multiple pdf files from multiple word files at the same time.  The only thing that I can currently get Adobe to do is make one big file.  I need to select approximately 30 word files and have adobe make 30 seperate pdf.  without me having to sit at the computer and select them one at a time.  If you can help please let me know.  Thanks
