that doesn't work. My computer (through windows) is set to open files on double click .  I use the single click too often to activate secondary window menus.

it's beginning to frustrate me!

Subject: [PDF-Basics] Acrobat Quirk??

I am running Windows XP Pro and  Acrobat 6.0 Pro.

When ever I create a PS file and go to that file in the folder to distill it, then double click the .ps file,  the "Browse for Folder" window will come up twice.  I can close or cancel one window and it will still create the PDF in the folder I choose.

This happens when I double click the .ps file or choose the Windows option (when I right click on the file) "Open with Distiller 6.0" or "Open with" and then go to the submenu where it lists Acrobat Distiller 6.0

The only time it will not open up two "Browse for folder" windows is if I open up distiller first or use the Windows menu option "Convert to Adobe PDF"

Does anyone else experience this or can anyone tell me why this is happening??

Thanks!
Pat Walters
