It's fair to say that PDFs are not intended as working documents. There is a
built-in text touch-up tool, but it is very limited. Those who need better
editing capabilities can purchase Pitstop (www.enfocus.com) which provides
extended editing capabilities. It also costs dearly...I think it's around
$500.00.

The best advice is the simplest and the cheapest. Whenever possible, always
make changes to your original document, and make a new PDF.

What program did you use to create the pdf? The simple answer to your
question (...edit it once in pdf form?) is Yes but for other than very minor
changes you would be far better off changing the original Word file.

I have converted a Microsoft Word document into a pdf. I've tried editing it
as a pdf with no success. Is it conceivable to be able to edit it once in
pdf form? If so could someone let me know what I may be doing wrong?
