It's fair to say that PDFs are not intended as working documents. There is a built-in text touch-up tool, but it is very limited. Those who need better editing capabilities can purchase Pitstop (www.enfocus.com) which provides extended editing capabilities. It also costs dearly...I think it's around $500.00. The best advice is the simplest and the cheapest. Whenever possible, always make changes to your original document, and make a new PDF. The simple answer to your question (...edit it once in pdf form?) is Yes but for other than very minor changes you would be far better off changing the original Word file. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of buddy k Sent: 16 February 2004 16:47 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PDF-Basics] Silly Question Probably... PDF-Basics is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________ I have converted a Microsoft Word document into a pdf. I've tried editing it as a pdf with no success. Is it conceivable to be able to edit it once in pdf form? If so could someone let me know what I may be doing wrong? Thanks. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
