The very best place to start is to ask politely (unless it is completely impossible) if you can get the original file in Word (or whatever format it was created in)! -- JLWM

Hello, all,
I have a 200 page document, closely typed, of varying lightness of Xerox
copy toner, and would like to scan it to PDF. Being unsure how to approach
this job, I need some suggestions:
--are these to be scanned page by page, saved as high quality TIFFs or JPGs,
converted to PDF individually, and assembled as one document to be saved to
CD-ROM?
--is there a faster or simpler way?
Thanks,
DPG Rochester
