Hello: I just subscribed and have a question of my own which I have been unable to solve.
I have authored a book which has been published in regular book form and I want to offer it also as an ebook. Unfortunately, every time I convert it to PDF, the results are somewhat mixed. as
an example, the pages are numbered, with the table of contents show each chapter at a certain page, when it is in PDF many of the pages are changed as to location of content and appear on different pages. obviously, if a table of contents shows the
chapters on page -- then it should also appear the same when converted or
re opened in pdf. Can you tell me if I have to acquire different software? I am
presently using Word 98, acrobat 5 and reader. thank you. Stan Long
