Hello,

I have noticed that when I print to pdf from a GIS software program, the
color that is used as transparent in the GSI program, it shows up as black.
For example, in our GIS software, we have bitmaps that represent the various
freeway icons of Southern California. In the GIS program, the area around
the icon on the bitmap is white but in the GIS program, the white is set to
'transparent' so that it does not show up. However, when I go to print the
map to pdf, all the white around the freeway icon/shield shows up as black
in the pdf file.

Any ideas why this is happening?
