oh, and when you create the link the properties box has two tabs.  One is "Actions", 
the other "Appearance".  Invisible/visible is on the Appearance tab.  Once you set it, 
that's what it is until you change it.

Hi

I have recently upgraded from 4.5 to 6 (on Windows
2000), and have found that the PDFMaker option for the
link appearance is set by default to visible
rectangle. I have looked in Change Conversion Settings
and in the help, but I cannot find a way to change the
links to invisible. I'm sure I'm missing something
obvious....
