Are you sure the color space is correct? I've seen that phenomena with RGB files placed in documents intended for print.

The PDF's (6.0 Pro) I make from Quark 5.01 have a problem. The resulting
PDF's sometimes have dull almost faded look to them. They lose color
vibrancy. What can I check?
