I can not remember specific accessibility-related questions in the last few days, but my memory might not be the best anyway <g>.

There are some "official" points of entry. The primary starting point from Adobe is http://access.adobe.com. From here, you have links to various Section 508 places. You might also look around in the PlanetPDF archives covering the various PDFConferences, where you might find Paul Showalters (of USAn IRS fame) presentation about accessibility and section 508. Another starting point would be the site of the BFMA (Business Forms Management Association), http://www.bfma.org, where you should find further leads.

One thing should be kept in mind. There is only a very little forms developer base who is really interested in accessibility (that's the ones who deal with US (and apparently Canadian) government. Anyone else who is not forced to be aware of it, tries to avoid the hassle. Yes, I know that I might be controversial with this view.

Hope, this can help.

Over the last couple of days, I have asked questions regarding various
aspect of creating accessible PDFs and there have not been any responses to
the questions. I have asked a couple of questions on the Adobe Acrobat forum
and the only responses from two other users were with regard to the forum
going wonky with my questions (font issues of the forum): nothing to do with
my question at all.

Am I asking the questions of the wrong discussion group? Can someone
recommend a book or another forum? Is information on Accessible PDFs so
difficult to come by?
