Highlight the text with the text touch-up tool, and hit the delete key.
 
What you need to understand is that the crop tool doesn't eliminate information in a PDF...it simply reduces the visible page. The crop tool in Photoshop gets rid of the data outside the cropped area.

Subject: [PDF-Basics] Cropping a document

I printed a document to the Adobe PDF printer. I now want to e-mail that document to a client – without the first two lines. I have tried copying the part of the document I want and pasting it to a new file, but then it becomes blurry and impossible to read. How can I get rid of these first two lines? Is there an erase tool or a way to crop the document?
