Well, that depends. Do you have the full version of Acrobat? What version is it (4, 5, 6)? Have you looked at the help file? How much money do have? If you answered yes to any of the above, then you're either a total liar, or you have what you need to do the job. There is a text tool (button on the toolbar at the top) that has a "T" on it. If, when you use that tool, the text gets highlighted black, then you're using the wrong one. If, when you use that tool and click on a line of text and it puts a blinking cursor where you clicked AND there is a tan colored box around the text, then you are using the right one. Once you found the right tool and the text you want to edit, put the cursor where you want to edit and either backspace or delete and type in the edit. You can highlight entire lines of text but BE CAREFUL, as Acrobat is NOT a word processing program. Weird things start to happen when you decide you want to rewrite your document in PDF. As is always said in these PDF forums, it is ALWAYS best to edit your document in your original word processing or layout program and then PDF. If changes need to be made! , make them to your original document and re-PDF the document. That is all. ~James Opinions expressed are mein kampf. ___________________________________________________________ From: Joe Dougherty Can anyone give me simple to follow instructions on how to edit text in a PDF document?
