In Word, I select "File", "Print" and then choose the Distiller driver and it creates the pdf file okay, it is only the renaming of the pdf file I don't understand. Distiller doesn't know what to do with a Word, Powerpoint or Outlook file - it can ONLY convert Postscript -> PDF. To convert other formats to PDF, you need to either use the "Convert to PDF" feature of Acrobat itself or from the Right-click/contextual menu in Windows Explorer.
