My guess is that v. 4 isn't playing nice with MS 2000. Even if that isn't the case I would still strongly encourage you to bug your IT dept. for the $150 Acrobat 6 upgrade. It makes that whole process a jillion times easier (I know, it's not a real unit of measurement).
