Sure, I say the same thing as his "only response" on the other list and I get ignored. Maybe it's my bad attitude and all-around apathy that kept him from taking my advice. Or that I still have hair on my head. I'm not sure which. ;-] ~James __________________________________________________________________ In the last couple of weeks, many people have complained of problems and have indicated that they have two or more versions of Acrobat/Reader installed on their systems, and different versions at that. Dov Isaacs of Adobe Systems, who has lurked on these lists for years, and who I have corresponded with for some time, provided a very stern and clear response. Don't have both Reader and Acrobat installed on one system, and don't have different versions of the programs installed concurrently. If I were you, I'd pop for the $149.00 to upgrade Acrobat 4.x to 6.x pro, I'd deinstall both your current versions, and see if the problem still persists. At the least, I would remove Reader 6. But then you are working with a five-year old program, which doesn't make any sense considering the advancements made over the course of time.
