I haven't tried it so I don't know what all is involved but FrameMaker 7 is supposed 
to support opening XML in Structured mode and then going to PDF from there would 
maintain those links. There is probably someone out there that can give you better 
advice on using Frame 7 in this way.

All,
I'm working in Win98 and Win 2000 with Acrobat 5.0.5...  I have XML files
that I would like to convert to PDF format while maintaining the integrity
of the HREFs.  (e.g.  xlink:href = "testdir1/testdir2/test.pdf").  I have
opened the XML files in MSIE and distilled them, but the HREFs are not
carried through to the PDF.  Any words of advice?  Thanks.
