We created documents in Acrobat 5.0 and have now upgraded to 6.0 and the links between documents no longer work. We attempted to open each document up in 6.0 and re-save. After re-saving we re-linked one of the links and all of the rest of the links seemed to be reset and work. That was yesterday. Today I go back to the same documents and open the document with the links to other documents and they do not work again. It seems that the links are not stored after the documents are closed even though they have been saved.
This is a major problem. I have seen talk of this on Google Groups. Does anyone know if Adobe has a fix? Or does anyone have a work around other than starting over with the source, creating pdfs and re-linking everything.
