When Adobe directly sent me this eSeminar invite on July 30, for an eSeminar taking
place right now as I type, I thought about it some and decided to attend. I registered
on-line with Adobe's own registration process. An email confirming the registration
was promised (to the email address I'm posting this message from), but it has never
been received. So this morning, I look up this eSeminar again and the morning session
was full. So I registered for the afternoon session. No promised email for this
afternoon session has been received.

I've recently used the eSeminar/Webinar/Webcast as a method to easily attend sessions
that I otherwise would miss. Other vendors Web presentations have been easy to
register for and have always promptly been acknowledged by an email with the
instructions necessary to participate. Many in fact send email reminders. And these
include vendors whose products I and my firm do not currently use. I and my firm do
use Adobe products daily. As an Acrobat evangelist within my firm, and FrameMaker
guru, I'd expect better treatment from Adobe on Adobe's own eSeminars than from
vendors with whom I have no business relationship.

This eSeminar involved Acrobat, hence the posting to this list. I did register this
complaint on the website's feedback form. The invitation email is not a real person;
once I replied to the email with the complaint, I received the reply that "At this
time we are unable to respond to customer support inquiries via email."

I trust the Adobe staff who follow this list will report this to the appropriate
department. I'm just surprised that the one time I've had any trouble with an
eSeminar, it's a vendor I normally trust - Adobe.

Thanks to all for listening. Please reply directly to me if you wish to me see it
sooner - I am on the digest for this list.
