Someone I work with converted an Excel File (from Windows 2000) to PDF using Distiller
as a printer driver. The file had some internet hyperlinks in it, and the links did
not convert into clickable links. I tested several ways to convert an Excel file using
Adobe tools and none of them converted links. The Job Options for Excel PDFMaker have
an option on how links should appear. This sounds like it should convert the links.
Does anyone know if links can be converted from Microsoft Office applications when you
convert to PDF? PDFMaker converts footnote, TOC, and reference links in Word -- why
not internet hyperlinks?

I finally solved the problem by using PDF995 and its companion, PDFedit995, which has
a feature for converting links. Why doesn't Adobe support link conversion, or what am
I missing?
