I use Talkworks (on local machine), and PRINT Acrobat 6 documents to it – this is probably much more manual and low-tech than what you are doing. However, I have problems if I print out Pagemaker 7 (with certain graphics, usually TIFF). I’ve found if I export the pagemaker document to Acrobat 6, then print the PDF to the fax, everything works fine.

I realize this doesn’t answer your question, but maybe for other readers it may be of relevance while on the subject of PDF’s and Faxes.

Subject: [PDF] Adobe 6 Scanned Documents and RightFax Fax Server

We are using RightFax for computer-based faxing.

We are having problems with RightFax converting documents scanned by Acrobat 6 and then sent to RightFax for conversion and faxing. PDF's created from Word documents, etc. are eFaxing OK.

Is anyone using RightFax and running into similar problems or having similar problems with other third-party applications?
