Yes, Leonard, but that can be a problem sometimes, as it is for me. I have a lot of media to deal with (.wav and .mpg files), and Acrobat doesn't convert Word objects, so if you want to embed them (which is cooler), you have to re-do them all in Acrobat after conversion, and if you have to revise often, that's a lot to do if you have lots of clips in your document. Another option (less attractive), would be hyperlinks. Those convert okay in most instances, but usually (but not always - [EMAIL PROTECTED]&*!! exletive deleted) they do not convert properly to PDFs if there are spaces in the filenames, which are important in my case. Acrobat 'escapes' the spaces to %20 because it evidently thinks any link must be a web link, but my filenames don't have %20 in them, they have spaces. So if I go that route, I would need something to convert all %20 back to spaces... -----Original Message----- From: Leonard Rosenthol <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sep 12, 2003 8:32 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [PDF] find and replace tool for pdf The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com __________________________________________________________________ At 8:10 AM +0100 9/12/03, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >In Microsoft Word there is a tool "find and replace". You should go back to the original documents, make the corrections there, and then rePDF them.
