Hello, all, and thanks for any help/insight that can be provided. I am in need of a
PDF converter that can truly batch process Visio files. In reviewing some of the
"batch" converter programs, I have found that the "batch" process is no different than
dragging and dropping several files on a printer icon. The primary problem with this
is the number of instances a particuliar program opens (this case visio) which then
brings the system to its knees from lack of resources, and hence, hardly useful for
more than a handful of files at a time. The processing I require would involve over
500 documents on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, making all the "batch" converters I have
found so far to be quite useless. My apologies if this offends anyone, however, I
find that the claim "batch" to be very misleading.

Perhaps my equating this to converting wma to mp3 or bmp to jpg files is incorrect?
All the file batch converters I have dealt with did not need to open any particuliar
application in order to convert the document, and certainly did not have to open an
instance for each file (and thankfully, too, after having converted thousands of files
at a time to mp3 and jpg formats).
