You have had more luck then I. When I click on the bookmark icon, nothing happens. When I click on the bookmark text, it opens the document to the first page. I've tried remaking the bookmark using go to view and then with named destinations but neither method worked.
I am using Acrobat 5 to edit the bookmarks. Do the Bookmarks work with Acrobat 6 Professional?
Is anyone else having this problem??
If the bookmarks point to named destinations in other PDFs, then this is a known problem in Acrobat/Reader 6.0.
Below is a quote from the list of Acrobat/Reader 6.0 Issues:
"Cross-file links/bookmarks take you to the default opening page of the target PDF (typically page 1), and not to the specified page/destinations, unless the target PDF is already open or is opened in a new window -- this can be done by changing the "open cross-document links in same window" local preference. [Control-clicking a cross-file link will also cause the target file to open in a new window, with the target destination display]"
