It is being saved as a JPG.  I even renamed the file putting jpg
extension & my graphic viewer program could read it.

I read about this website here & downloaded the help file for Windows
on how to create pdf files.  

I have used reduction software with graphic files.  While the file size
is smaller, they are more distorted in my humble opinion.

Did you know there is or was a freeware that did this?  
One was called:  JpgOp.  This one is shareware & was made for
reducing jpg's on the internet.
