Yes, I
have. JJ -----Original
Message----- I bought an HP scanner
recently, and had to download a fix so that it would work with Acrobat 6. You don't have both
Acrobat 4 and 6 installed on the same machine, do you? Rich From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jacob, Joselito We scan some
of our documents using iR
ScanningGear/Canon ImageRUNNER 400S via Acrobat 4. Once we installed Acrobat 6,
I wanted to retire Acrobat 4. The problem is that I cannot use this scanner
with Acrobat 6. What happens is that each time I scan, it gets hung up. After
the scanning process a Transfer Page Status comes up. It will indicate that the
scanning is 100% completed, but here is where it gets stuck. Canceling this
will then freeze up Acrobat 6 forcing me to go to Windows Task Manager to
cancel Acrobat 6. My question is: 1) Does any
one out there have encountered the same problems? 2) Do I have
the right driver? I downloaded the latest from Canon site. Our Canon support
people are also stumped with this one. 3) Is this
another one of those “internal propriety” conflicts of Adobe Acrobat? Thanks, JJ |
