In the Quark print dialog box, under options, there's a checkbox to overprint EPS black. Do you have that checked? The illustrator file is a piece of compound path black art with black set to overprint. It is placed in Quark with a Quark colored box behind it (7M 10Y). I would like to create a PDF that retains the Black Overprint of the Illustrator art. It is knocking out the Quark colored box right now.
