How are you making the PDF? Quark items in my file overprint correctly, but not placed Illustrator eps files. Overprinting is correct if I print separations to Acrobat, but I want a composite PDF file that will separate correctly. I am submitting PDF files to newspapers for display advertising. -- Kevin Brown Studio Manager Eleven Inc In the Quark print dialog box, under options, there's a checkbox to overprint EPS black. Do you have that checked? The illustrator file is a piece of compound path black art with black set to overprint. It is placed in Quark with a Quark colored box behind it (7M 10Y). I would like to create a PDF that retains the Black Overprint of the Illustrator art. It is knocking out the Quark colored box right now.
