Hi Bill
My tool of choice for these tasks is "Supercolor" from Heidelberg. In the new Version they will also introduce the BCP-Feature fro rel-colormetric conversions.

A customer of ours decided to redo their catalog in CorelDraw (previously
Quark) and save out PDF files. Somehow in the process she converted all the
high res CMYK files we gave her to RGB. We fixed the problem by using the
advanced editing tools in Acrobat 6 to open each image into Photoshop to do
the conversion and saving back into the PDF. This worked well but was very
time consuming considering there were hundreds of images.
Is there a way to globally do this, with Pitstop for instance, using the
same profile, Commercial Sheetfed2, that we used in Photoshop. There are
currently no profiles embedded in the images the customer provided. Thanks.
