I am developing an Acrobat plugin that, along with other functionality, extracts the FDF information from a form and sends it to a server.

OK...

When I enable the READER_PLUGIN flag (#define READER_PLUGIN 1), 2 functions become undefined:

ExportAsFDF
CosDocSaveToFile

Correct. In the Acrobat 5 SDK those functions are not available/provided.

I was told by a contact at Adobe that it is legal to extract and send FDF information from a reader-enabled plugin. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

Well, in order to develop a plugin for Acrobat Reader, you will to sign a contract with Adobe - and they will tell you whether or not what you are trying to do it legal (ie. if it's not, they won't grant you a license).

The necessary forms are on the new SDK web site.
