Since those functions caused me compile errors with the READER_PLUGIN set, I am assuming they are not available under Reader. But this conflicts with information given to us by Adobe Dev and Sales support. Well, in order to develop a plugin for Acrobat Reader, you will to sign a contract with Adobe - and they will tell you whether or not what you are trying to do it legal (ie. if it's not, they won't grant you a license). The necessary forms are on the new SDK web site.
