I don't see anything about a startup folder in any of Acrobat 6's docs. I DID spot something about "Prolog.ps" and "Epilog.ps"... in the settings->advanced options tab... but that's not the same thing. Some PS wizardry might be able to convince Distiller to use a startup folder, but that's just a guess. PS is hardly my area of expertise. I suggest you get ahold of your vendors and see what they have to say. There are a couple PS and a TXT file buried in Distiller's "Xtras" folder that you may be able to convince to help you out. You should be able to use some variant of RunDirEX.txt as a prologue.ps file... Convert RunDirEX to look at your startup folder AND whatever is about to be distilled. How? Trial and Error.
