Thanks for answering. My app can actually insert content before AND after existing content by adding an entry to beginning or end of the /Contents array, like so: from /Contents 10 0 R to /Contents [10 0 R 20 0 R] or /Contents [20 0 R 10 0 R] The 2nd option works fine, obviously, so I guess the users have a workaround.
