I am interested in being able to detect if the IE browser can display PDF
files regardless of how, whether it be Acrobat Reader or a third-party
plug-in.

In searching through the archives it appears this question has been asked
but not answered. Does this mean there is not a way of doing it?
Macromedia documented the means of detecting Flash, one would think Adobe
would do the same for Reader.
