Notwithstanding Leonard's entirely valid questions on this point, I agree that facilitating the sync-ing of Info keywords to the XMP data is highly desirable. >As with the current situation in Acrobat and Adobe PDF Library, this >synchronization is carried out the first time that any metadata is inspected >using the PDDocInfo API or the XAP API, and the synchronized values are >saved in the document when the document is saved. > >So, here's my question - would an automatic process along these lines >cause >problems for your development or solutions? We look forward to your >feedback. The change you suggest would represent a significant plus, and if Leonard's issues ARE addressed, I do not (until / unless Leonard shines light on my marble head) see a minus. Myself, I would like to think that any metadata added to any Doc Info field could be generically understood to "be" full-fledged XMP metadata - by the regular user, anyhow. It sounds like that's where you are going, and I applaud it!
