I just started playing around with the idea of making a
contribution to next month's PUG, and I discovered that the
old Marchioni Bros. Tiltall tripod makes an almost perfect
copy stand. The head flips down 90-degrees allowing the
camera to focus straight down. Although I don't have the
200mm macro yet, using the 100mm lens gives me a sense of
where the 200mm lens will focus, and the setup with the tripod
(which I placed on a desk) should work great. An inexpensive
spirit level should allow me to be sure everything is in the
same plane of focus.

Thanks for your heads up and for getting me to start thinking
about what I had that could be used.
