I used a K2 for 25 years until last year and how my mind slips. As I recall it has
two needles
and a transparent 'time scale' the right side. In automatic mode the black needle
travels up and down
along the time scale to disclose the exposure time. In manual mode the blue needle
cranks down
with the speed dial with the time on the dial matching the time in the viewfinder.--
then
you 'match needles' for the correct exposure.
Thus in the manual mode you have it all in the viewfinder. -- the your chosen
shutter speed on one needle
and the 'light meter suggestion' on the other needle -- both superimposed on a 'time
scale which on which you
can read the times for both.
