Actually I should say England trip update. To answer Lasse's question, I
went in August. I went with my sister, her roomy, and her roomy's parents.
We spent two weeks in England. And yes I did get some very good pictures.
I took all 42 rolls of film that I had with me, and even bought another for
the changing of the guards. We spent a few days in the Kent district. That
is where I burned most of my film. Then we went to see Stratford-upon-Avon,
and the Cotswalds. Then we spent 3 days in London. I am not a big city girl
so I didn't like London that much. Although i did take pictures of all 22
pubs my sister and i visited, the 3 days we were in London. THe funniest
part about that is my sister gets drunk on one gin and tonic, and I don't
drink, she just wanted to visit a bunch of pubs. Its a good thing she only
weighs a hundred pounds, i carried her back to the room.
The Kent district is the best. I loved the castles and the open country.
My second favorite was the cotswolds, probably my favorite place there was
Sheepscombe. My favorite thing in London was the tour guide on the big bus
tour. He was very very very cute.
As for pictures? Yes I got some very good ones. Of the 1142 pictures I
developed only 15 didn't go in an album, that doesn't mean they are perfect,
but they are all good. I probably got 50 what i call perfect pictures. I am
sure I will be posting some of them in pug. That is if I don't forget the
deadline. :) My favorite picture was taken on a boat tour of the River
Avon in Stratford. It is of a swan with its head in the water.
THe sad part is Karen's roommate decided she wanted a camera so Karen went
to buy her one for Christmas. I went with her and we picked out I believe
one of the MZ models. When Karen went back to get it for her the salesman
talked her into a "much better camera". When I asked what it was Karen said
it was the Nikon f5. So we lost a good pentax sale. I was upset with my
sister, but what could I do?

in case anyone is curious 1142 picture can be put into 3 12x12, and one
12x15 creative memories picture albums. The best going in the 12x12's and
the leftovers in the 12x15.
Lasse, there were no snakes. Just a new boyfriend, his jeep, and a bunch
of snow. But had we not been stuck there I would have never noticed the
train ran through there and been struck with the idea of taking the
pictures.
