Optically it is not that great, it's expensive, and for a normal lens it
ain't very fast.  The only things going for it is it's size, one of a kind
focal length (in Pentax lenses), and it's very high "Way Cool!" factor.
The size can be a disadvantage though, it can be difficult to focus and
adjust the aperture, so I suggest trying it out first on your favorite
camera(s).
